Abe is 8 months old...

Yikes! 2/3 the way through his first year. He looks and acts more like a little boy every day. He is our shining star, our little buddy, and our wild man.

He has been LOVING life right now. It seems as though his favorite things to do are eat, squeal, make messes and stand next to his table. 

He now has eaten and loved carnitas, tres leches cake (just a tiny taste!), salmon, cod, kiwi, pineapple and yogurt. His favorite foods seem to be meat, strawberries, guacamole, and anything he can pick up and feed himself. He will sit and be quiet through church and other outings as long as he has a cup full of puffs to munch on! 

This past month, Abe: 

Had visitors from out of state, visited the farm babies at the zoo (and got to pet a goat!), celebrated his first Easter, avoided getting mommy's stomach flu, played with cousin Livvy, took walks with mom, dad, and Jett, got a big boy carseat, started taking baths in the big bathtub, learned all about grass, went to a ninja turtle birthday party, grew a lot of hair, outgrew size 3 diapers and some 12 month clothing, and learned lots of new tricks, including "Dadadadada," sitting on his own from a laying down position, high fives, and a teensy bit of forward crawling.
