Abe 8 weeks

Our little honey boy  turned 8 weeks old on Halloween. He grows and grows each week, he's getting so long and has the chubbiest belly and legs.

At his most recent appointment he had the following stats:
Height: 23.75 inches (88th percentile)
Weight: 13 lbs, 6 oz (83rd percentile)
Head Circumference: 16.75 inches (100+ percentile)

This week Abey Babey:

Met his great Grandma Weinberger and had lots of fun with both her and Gamma Detko!

Did cheek to cheek with cousin Livvy

Got a new hat!

Wore his first Halloween costume.

Did lots of tummy time on his mat!

He also went on his first vacation with mommy and daddy up to Lambeau Field (the "happiest place on Earth!" and to Door County.

Abe did wonderfully! He slept well in the car, wasn't crabby when he toted him around to wineries, restaurants, and state parks, and was such a joy to hang out with-LOTS of smiles and laughs from him on our trip.

Some of our favorite memories of the trip:
*Getting to Lambeau and Abe having a blowout all the way up his back. He was so excited to be there I guess, he pooped his pants!
* Abe scoring Dad a Micah Hyde authentic signed football helmut for being the only baby in the bar. (parents of the year!)
* Visiting several delicious winers, Abe in tow.
*Watching a 20/20 special about a baby that was stolen from a hospital in 1964. The picture of the baby looked just like Abe so we kept going around town calling poor Abe "Paul Fronznack," which was the name of the missing baby. You had to be there, but it really cracked Zach and I up!
* Driving all the way up the thumb of Wisconsin. The scenery was beautiful.
* Eating yummy Door County cherry french toast, Lake Michigan whitefish, caramel apple popcorn, and authentic BBQ.
*Going back through Lambeau on the way home and visiting Curly's Pub. So many crazy fans there on Saturday for the Monday Night Football game.
