Baby Abraham- 4 weeks

Almost a month old, I can't believe it! I loved carrying Abe inside me and thought pregnancy went so fast. Now here I am with a 4 week old baby!

Here he is today:

This week: 

Abe went to his first brewery! (Of many, probably!) Zach and I went to a birthday party at one of our favorite brewpubs and Abe did great. It was past his bedtime by the time we arrived and Mr. slept almost the whole time! He got passed around quite a bit and woke up once to eat but he was a trooper.

Abe met his great grandparents and mommy's uncle, aunt, and cousins!

Abe slept in his crib! It was worse for mom than for Abe since I kept wanting to get up and check on him. The first night he slept 3.5 hours then had to be moved back to our room. The second night he was up every 2-2.5 hours but stayed in the crib the whole night. Last night he did great! Slept 3.5 hours, then another 3 in the crib, but we lay him down awake and he just puts himself to sleep. Woo! He's such a loud sleeper that I sleep better when he's out of the room but I miss being able to just reach down and check on him or grab him to eat. The other thing we've noticed in the last week is he doesn't really poop overnight-way easier to change him quick while he's half asleep when I don't have to startle him with cold wipes!

Abe went to the zoo! Mommy dressed him like a little football. We had a great time.

Abe discovered his tongue. Oh gosh, it's hilarious to sit there and watch him stick it out over and over.He also responds to us with smiles now!

Finally, Abe took his first bath in the bath tub! He loves baths so far. And the naked part afterwards. :)

Looking forward to his one month birthday and some quality time with daddy when mommy leaves to go work 6 hours at the RMH. Hopefully it goes well!!
